Wednesday, April 1st, 2009If on Saturday it was Lorenzo Ariaudo who brought Casiraghi’s Under 21 squad back on track, on Tuesday it was the turn of Sebastian Giovinco to score for Italy and equalize against Holland.
The Atomic Ant played a great match and even went close to scoring a second time. The Orange were the first to score with De Jong but Seba equalized at the end of the first half fixing the score on a 1-1 draw which is a very important result for the azzurrini.
Giovinco had a very good match and was clearly the inspiration of the team coached by Pierluigi Casiraghi. Claudio Marchisio also had a good match expressing himself with the skills of a veteran notwithstanding his young age but this is nothing new as the young midfielder has already become an important point of reference in Ranieri’s squad.
